Venice, referred to as “the floating city” is built on more than 100 tiny islands based on a complex system of canals and rivers created by human beings, unlike any type of worldwide. A historical city recognized for its picturesque architecture, its Carnevale masks and customs, its marbled royal residences, Murano glass masters, and allow me not forget, its charming gondolas. A tremendously beautiful and classic city challenged with its own eco-friendly troubles as the water level remains to climb and over-tourism affects its credibility and preservation.
