I’ll be the very first in my family to gain an university degree, and that’s something I hold really close to my heart.
My family and I moved to the United States in 2014 We chose Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and build a much better future.
When I graduated high school in 2020, I determined to join the Army Book so I might work full time to assist support my family financially. Along the way, my moms and dads constantly reminded me of the value of a college level. Honestly, I fought with the choice in between selecting job over school.
That transformed when I uncovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can earn my level 100 % online from an approved, across the country recognized Carnegie R 1 college. The flexibility of the program made it possible to stabilize work, life, and education and learning. Once I signed up, I recognized I made the best option.
As an online trainee, I stayed included with campus life with occupation fairs and signing up with pupil companies like the Culture of Human Resource Management. I intended to get the most out of my college experience and get in touch with people who shared my interest for human resources.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of fall semester. Thanks to the support and framework of UofM Global, I had the ability to complete solid, also making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking four classes while serving on active duty, and I’m happy to say I’ll be finishing in May.
Being able to offer my country, sustain my family, and earn my degree indicates the globe to me. I really feel all set to tackle whatever comes next.
